    December 14, 2020 - January 29, 2021

    You are invited to help shape the scope of the Pierce County 2023 Comprehensive Flood Hazard Management Plan (Flood Plan) and associated environmental review. From December 14th 2020 to January 29th 2021, Pierce County will be taking agency, tribal, and public comment on what to study in the Flood Plan and associated environmental impact statement (EIS). The Flood Plan will identify projects and polices that will reduce the impact of major flooding to the community to be implemented over a 10 year period, starting in 2023.
