Bonney Lake Senior Center
Due to the extreme heat forecasted this week, the Bonney Lake Senior Center will open today, Tuesday July 26, 2022 through Friday July 29, 2022, from 8 am to 6 pm as a cooling center. The Center is located at 19304 Bonney Lake Blvd. Accommodations and space are limited to seating, water, and restroom facilities. Normal Senior Center activities will continue as planned; however members of the public will be welcome to find relief from the heat at the facility. For questions, please call 253-863-7658.

Cooling center; free admission, no registration or appointment is necessary. We’ll have bottled water available, plus games, a DIY craft station, and free Wi-Fi in an air-conditioned space. Dogs and cats are welcome but must remain in their crates. Children younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

The location will water and fans to help people during the hot weather. Pierce Transit is providing free rides to cooling centers this weekend. It is important people drink plenty of water, stay in a cool or air conditioned space and don't overdue it in the heat. Wear sunscreen. Check on pets, children, the elderly and those who struggle in hot weather.
Trinity Presbyterian Church will open their basement Tuesday through Thursday from 3 PM – 6 PM and will have water and restrooms available.
