Bonney Lake Senior Center
Due to the extreme heat forecasted this week, the Bonney Lake Senior Center will open today, Tuesday July 26, 2022 through Friday July 29, 2022, from 8 am to 6 pm as a cooling center. The Center is located at 19304 Bonney Lake Blvd. Accommodations and space are limited to seating, water, and restroom facilities. Normal Senior Center activities will continue as planned; however members of the public will be welcome to find relief from the heat at the facility. For questions, please call 253-863-7658.

Cooling center; free admission, no registration or appointment is necessary. We’ll have bottled water available, plus games, a DIY craft station, and free Wi-Fi in an air-conditioned space. Dogs and cats are welcome but must remain in their crates. Children younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Grab a blanket and your favorite lawn chair and enjoy family-friendly movies on the big screen at Meridian Habitat Park on Fridays in July. The movies are FREE and will start at dusk. Come early for fun pre-show activities and games at 7:00 p.m. Concessions will be on-site or feel free to bring pre-prepared food and picnic fare to enjoy during the movie.
