Pierce County, through the Federal CARES Act, is making funds available to assist affordable rental housing projects experiencing financial loss due to the COVID19 pandemic. Eligible, Non-Profit & For-Profit owners/operators of deed restricted affordable units located in Pierce County, who suffered a COVID-19 related loss of income &/or COVID-19 related expenses, not budgeted for in 2020, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Please print and read the program description before filing out the application for assistance. It provides detailed information about the process and what documents are required to be included with the submission. After which, complete, print, and sign (digital signature is acceptable) the application, then email it along with the required items to HSCaresAct@piercecountywa.gov. To ensure all email correspondence and attachments are kept together, please note only the name of the organization in the subject box.
Organizations are limited to receive up to two grant awards initially (one per project). If funds remain after all Cares Act applications are processed, organizations that submitted more than two applications, may be considered for additional grant awards (one per additional project).
